Just a Thought: People constantly ask us, if the Water Cures is so good, how come doctors don't know about it? Here is another question. If these drugs were so good, how come there are law suits for the drug companies failing to disclose the lethal side effects? Why in the world would a company put profits ahead of a human life?
The FDA has given several warnings and updates in regard to Zocor’s safety. The side effects were so serious, the FDA required Merck to change Zocor’s safety labels.
While most take 40 milligrams per day, it has been found that those taking the maximum legal dosage (80 milligrams per day) were more likely to have an adverse reactions to the drug.
The FDA Zocor warnings started in March 2010, warning against the maximum dosage of 80 milligrams per day.
Additionally, you should know that taking Zocor while taking other blood pressure medications increases the chances of dangerous health risks.
In 2011 the FDA warned MD's to never prescribe the maximum Zocor dosage to new patients. Merck was also required to change Zocor’s label. The label change was to add the new side effects and make the safe dosage clear.
Below you will find a list of the various Zocor side effects.

While some simvastatin (Zocor)side effects may not require medical attention, the question is, what if there was a better way? What if there was a safer way? Health care professionals may be able to help you prevent or reduce the above side effects if they are motivated by your best interest and not profits or a system that buys and pays for scientific results (and then forgets to warn us about the adverse ones). We live in a system that corrects discrepancies by allowing the legal system to create class action law suits. Thus we now have class action law suits against the potentially lethal side effects of this drug.

The Science Behind Lowering Cholesterol with Water Cures
The Science: Reduce Cholesterol by Correcting Dehydration. Dehydration during fasting increases serum lipids and lipoproteins. Clin Invest Med. 1994 Dec;17(6):570-6.AbstractThe Water Cures Solution to The Cholesterol DilemmaThis was an open, randomized cross-over designed to see if dehydration during fasting increases lipid concentrations. Fifteen healthy subjects participated, 1 of whom dropped out. The subjects fasted once with no fluid replacement and once with salt and water supplementation. Following both fasts, blood was drawn for lipid assessments. Compared to fasting with fluid and salt replacement, fasting without fluids was associated with higher (mean, 95% confidence interval) total serum cholesterol (8.1%, 4.3-11.9%), HDL cholesterol (7.5%, 1.8-13.1%), LDL cholesterol (10.5%, 2.2-18.8%), apolipoprotein A-1 (8.9%, 5.0-12.8%), and apolipoprotein B (10.5%, 5.2-15.8%). The change in serum triglycerides was not statistically significant.
Those who fasted with less fluids had considerably higher lipid levels and, therefore, variation in hydration of patients could contribute to the variation in lipid levels of patients. All patients should be well hydrated before assessment of lipid levels.
Recommendations: 1) fast no longer than 12 hours and
2) during fasting, avoid unnecessary physical activity, avoid hot dry environments, have a liberal intake of water, and avoid diuretic substances such as caffeine. And we would add, make sure and take some electrolytes like unprocessed salt dissolved in the mouth just before drinking the water so it can better get into your body.
Follow the Water Cures Protocol, lower cholesterol, lower blood pressure and increase mental sharpness. All with a pinch of salt and a glass of water.

It is amazing how so many things that are new to us were common knowledge in the past. One basic practice of the Water Cures protocol is to drink at least 30-45 minutes before and 2 1/2 hours after a meal. This is not a new thought however. Notice what a magazine from 1925 had to say...
"Drink plenty of water two hours after each meal; drink none just before eating; and a small quantity if any at meal time. Do not take a bath until two hours after eating a meal, nor closer than one hour before eating. Drink a full glass of water both before and after the bath." (Golden Age, Sept. 9, 1925, pp. 784-785)

Hi, my name is Sharon. The webmaster of this site is my nurse, my personal water coach and my husband.
As this site was first being built, I had a headache and as usual took an Ibuprofen. Impatient for it to start working, I decided to try the Water Cures. I took a pinch of salt and a glass of water. Then I took a second pinch of salt and another glass of water. My headache was gone in less than 5 minutes.
From my personal experience, it usually takes 30 to 45 minutes for Ibuprofen to work. Some have found it takes ibuprofen 24 minutes to start working.
Yet on the Water Cures protocol, my headache was gone in 5 minutes.
Its simple: give your body what it needs and your body will give you what you need, the ability to feel great.
Water Cures was the solution for the elimination of my headache. It is what I will use from now on.
Why not give it a try yourself.
