Health Care Survivalist Need To Know

Are you ready as a health care survivalist? If you do not have these basics in your Go Bag, you are not prepared.

Medical self-care is an essential part of medical self care. Here we will list the most basic things you will need, quantities and important facts you will need to know about them. This is the most important and most basic info for survivalist preppers health-care.

Survival Hydration: Minimum Water Needs

Water Fasting for health and for food conservation.

Health Care Survivalist Need to Have

The Water Cures Protocol is so simple, no books required. Just learn the basics.

5 lbs of salt per person minimum. This may be money again some day.

1 package of aluminum free baking soda per person.

1 set of measuring spoons 1/8th teaspoon, 1/4 tsp and 1/2 tsp.

Portable water filter (testing and reviews will be forthcoming)

Containers: enough to store a weeks supply of water. These should always be easy to find.

Drinking bottle. No need to carry a full bottle with you. Proper hydration involves drinking all at once, not nursing the bottle. Your body stores the water inside, making your load much lighter. Whatever you drink cannot be stolen from you.

Survivalist Preppers Health-Care Need to Know

If the economy or the infrastructure breaks down, one of the first things to go will be health care. Will you be ready? Will you be a health care survivalist?

Water Cures is the simplest and most important natural treatment you need to learn as a health care survivalist. Water cures can help with over 70 different diseases and conditions. The most important thing it helps with, the prevention of dehydration.

Survivalist Health Care Basics

The unprocessed sea salt will help you conserve water if there is a shortage.

Drinkable clean water may be in short supply. If you are in a hot area or there is a lack of water, unprocessed sea salt will make it possible to use less water to preserve life. Water on its own is a diuretic. When the salt is dissolved in the mouth, the water is stored by the body and more readily available to your entire body. The unprocessed salt provides the trace minerals you will need for health.

Water Survival: What to Do When There is No or Little Water To Drink?

Pain Management: The water cures protocol is one of the first forms of care that is offered when providing pain management in holistic health care. This is because it works. It helps the body to heal and at the same time, manage the pain.

Diabetes: If there is no insulin, the water cures protocol could help you maintain normal blood sugar levels. There are doctors testing this theory out using saline IVs. They are finding that it works. We are not saying it is a replacement, just that if there is no insulin, this is an alternative to preserve life.

Note: It is not necessary to keep insulin refrigerated so long as the temperature is not greater than 80 degrees and it is out of the light. It should last for one month and causes less discomfort when administering.

Stress Management: Face it, some will have a hard time with the stress of everything in the world falling apart. Others will welcome it for the changes it will eventually bring about. Properly hydrating our bodies will help us to better manage stress and keep our thinking faculties clear.

Infection Prevention: One of the biggest risks is infection. A healthy and hydrated body will be able to manage and prevent most exposures. Why did some people succumb to the various plagues and others survive in history. A properly hydrated body and the various mineral nutrients in the salt help us maintain our health at its maximum potential.

Blood Pressure Medications: When these are no longer available, you will learn a simple basic truth about the water cures. It lowers blood pressure for most who have otherwise healthy kidneys. Think about it, why are we told to eat less salt rather than drink more water. More importantly, look up the side effects of blood pressure medications. Many destroy brain cells over long periods of time.

Some may need more than the water cures. The minerals calcium, magnesium and zinc will help in these people. The best source, the foods we eat. Look up and keep a list of those foods available in your area to help maintain your optimal blood pressure.

Asthma: The water cures protocol will help you manage and for some, even eliminate their asthma.

Acid Reflux: The water cures protocol was first rediscovered as a viable treatment for acid reflux. It is a fraction of the cost of the commercially marketed remedies and the side effects, better health, if you do not mind putting up with that.

Bronchitis: Undoubtedly we will be exposed to numerous health challenges. Those with bronchitis will learn what we already know, research has shown that cough preparations do not even work as good as placebos. Yet the water cures protocol works to stop the coughing. For some, it may be necessary to use baking soda to further alkalize the water and get the best effect.

Antiseptic/Antibacterial/Antifungal

Lougals Iodine can be used both topically and internally. The orientals consume about 14 mg daily, far more than the microgram recommendation the US Department of Keep You Unhealthy and Profitable recommends. It has incredible properties, more than we can go into here.

The natural rubber tops of the droppers do dry out. Rotate your new purchase into your go bag so that you will have the benefit of the dropper. I always keep the droppers and throw away the old bottles. Then if one goes bad, I have a new top for it.

Urinary Tract Infections: The water cures UTI protocol was the standard of care in the past. In the absence of antibiotics or not, this is the better choice. Many antibiotics have been found to cause numerous side effects, many serious and permanent.

These are just a few of the many ways you will be able to sustain your life as a health care survivalist.

Our Grandparents Knew About Mixing Hydration and Eating!

It is amazing how so many things that are new to us were common knowledge in the past. One basic practice of the Water Cures protocol is to drink at least 30-45 minutes before and 2 1/2 hours after a meal. This is not a new thought however. Notice what a magazine from 1925 had to say...

"Drink plenty of water two hours after each meal; drink none just before eating; and a small quantity if any at meal time. Do not take a bath until two hours after eating a meal, nor closer than one hour before eating. Drink a full glass of water both before and after the bath." (Golden Age, Sept. 9, 1925, pp. 784-785)

Heal Your Headache It Worked For Me

Hi, my name is Sharon. The webmaster of this site is my nurse, my personal water coach and my husband.

As this site was first being built, I had a headache and as usual took an Ibuprofen. Impatient for it to start working, I decided to try the Water Cures. I took a pinch of salt and a glass of water. Then I took a second pinch of salt and another glass of water. My headache was gone in less than 5 minutes.
