Mavis Butler wrote about her ending migraine headache diet change. The biggest change was that of proper hydration. The tea and the fruits she ate for hydration, did not help. Once using the Water Cures protocol, she had discovered that one of the headache causes is dehydration.
This is Mavis Butler's story.
She has suffered for many years with headaches. After consulting doctors, neurologists, chiropractors, getting head scans and x-rays, she got no relief. Spending hundreds of dollars she got no relief, having to lay in bed with pain for days on end.
There was no medication that would provide relief. Mavis said, "It just seemed to run it's course and stop." There was no apparent connection between diet and her headaches. The only thing in common, the headaches seemed to start a couple of hours after a meal.
Then a friend suggested that her headaches were cause because of a lack of water. Mavis recognized that she did not drink much water. She thought that drinking tea and fruit juices as well as a lot of fruits supplied all her hydration needs.
Note: Dr. Batmanghelidj in his writings showed how water needs to be consumed apart from food to get the best hydration benefits. When water is obtained from food, it more serves the digestive process and not efficiently for the hydration of the entire body.
On seeing one of Dr. Batman's books in a magazine advertisement, it seemed to jump out at her and she ordered the book, Your Bodies Many Cries for Water.
On getting it in the mail, she read and read it again. She became aware of her misconceptions of the way she was hydrating and the new paradigm that Dr. Batman was helping people to discover. She wrote, " Can anyone, without experiencing (a debilitating headache) for themselves, really understand what it is like to have usually pain-filled days changed to painless days when you can do the things you want to do, instead o being "down with a headache?" For her, it was truly a blessing that she thanked God for.
It took her months to get her body properly re-hydrated. Headaches, while they do occasionally return, they are not the norm.
She lectures adults at a night class on 'Better Food and Eating Habits.' one of her sessions was on the bodies need for water. The result, she has helped many get better health and eliminate pain because of the Water Cures protocol.
One such person, a friend was scheduled to go to the hospital for stomach ulcer pain. Begging him to try the Water Cures, he did and to his amazement, the pain stopped and the hospital visit was canceled and he did not need to use any medication and it did not cost anything.
While this may not work for all, it may help many. Please share this with others on social media and other sources. We believe this simple solution should be free for all. But it can only help if it gets out to as many as possible.

It is amazing how so many things that are new to us were common knowledge in the past. One basic practice of the Water Cures protocol is to drink at least 30-45 minutes before and 2 1/2 hours after a meal. This is not a new thought however. Notice what a magazine from 1925 had to say...
"Drink plenty of water two hours after each meal; drink none just before eating; and a small quantity if any at meal time. Do not take a bath until two hours after eating a meal, nor closer than one hour before eating. Drink a full glass of water both before and after the bath." (Golden Age, Sept. 9, 1925, pp. 784-785)

Hi, my name is Sharon. The webmaster of this site is my nurse, my personal water coach and my husband.
As this site was first being built, I had a headache and as usual took an Ibuprofen. Impatient for it to start working, I decided to try the Water Cures. I took a pinch of salt and a glass of water. Then I took a second pinch of salt and another glass of water. My headache was gone in less than 5 minutes.
From my personal experience, it usually takes 30 to 45 minutes for Ibuprofen to work. Some have found it takes ibuprofen 24 minutes to start working.
Yet on the Water Cures protocol, my headache was gone in 5 minutes.
