First, we do not believe that lowering blood cholesterol is necessary, at least the way that the media presents the issue. Our bodies create cholesterol for a reason, actually a very good reason. Cholesterol is created in our bodies to save our lives. So what good reason would we have for lowering it?
If you are going for life insurance, your cholesterol levels could affect your rates. Lowering your cholesterol level could lower the cost of your premiums. It may determine if you get insurance at all in some cases.
Lowering your cholesterol is easy. There are three ways. We call the three ways, Animal, Mineral and Vegetable.
Lowering cholesterol with the use of minerals can be done with the water cures protocol. It is literally the minerals in the water as well as in the unprocessed salt that help you to lower your cholesterol. To be more accurate, the salt and water help your body to be at your optimal functioning so that your body does not make cholesterol.
A second in the mineral column is water. Cholesterol is believed to be created to protect inter-vascular damage. Think of the cholesterol patch as a bio-band-aid. Once we have enough water, we do not need the band-aid.
Consider what happens to your band-aid when it gets soaked, such as when you take a bath. Neither the band-aid stays on nor do you need one, while in the water. The water cures provides such a condition.
As an added benefit, the salt helps the water to get inside each and every cell of our bodies.

It is amazing how so many things that are new to us were common knowledge in the past. One basic practice of the Water Cures protocol is to drink at least 30-45 minutes before and 2 1/2 hours after a meal. This is not a new thought however. Notice what a magazine from 1925 had to say...
"Drink plenty of water two hours after each meal; drink none just before eating; and a small quantity if any at meal time. Do not take a bath until two hours after eating a meal, nor closer than one hour before eating. Drink a full glass of water both before and after the bath." (Golden Age, Sept. 9, 1925, pp. 784-785)

As this site was first being built, I had a headache and as usual took an Ibuprofen. Impatient for it to start working, I decided to try the Water Cures. I took a pinch of salt and a glass of water.
