This water cures weight loss story is by a man who started out with kidney stone pain and ended up improving his health. A special trick that may help this work for you is at the bottom.
Thomas first heard of the Water Cures on the Art Bell show. In August, he started having back pain that was progressively getting worse.
The first trip to the doctor and getting tested for muscle and bone related health, nothing could be found.
Then a test showed blood in the urine. On getting an IVP X-ray and then a second followed by a cat-scan, finally a kidney stone was discovered.
Thomas was told by his urologist that he had developed the stone because he was dehydrated. The kidney stones were removed surgically two months later in October. To prevent the recurrence of the kidney stones, he was encouraged to drink more water by this doctor.
On finding that he had kidney stones, he began to read everything he could on the topic. This is when he found the book, Your Bodies Many Cries for Water. The book helped with creating a mindset of drinking at least 1 liter of water every day (33 ounces). He stopped drinking soft drinks all together.
He found that by starting early and making sure to have water with him through the day, it was possible to drink 4 liters a day (135 ounces).
The most notable benefit, his weight went from 197lbs. to 165lbs. This happened in just three months. He made no other dietary changes.
As to the kidney stones, as of a year later, there were no more.
The lesson he learned, "...made me think a lot about what I put into my body." And Thomas added, "I will be a water drinker the rest of my life."
The water cures protocol is based on a simple philosophy. We need water for optimal health. We need electrolytes to get the water into the cells of our body in order for the water to do its work.
When we take both and drink prior to eating, our stomach is best prepared for the food to enter it. We increase the nourishment potential from the food we eat and our bodies can produce optimal healing.
Hydration coaches recommend drinking within 20 minutes of awaking. This is because our bodies determine if we are going to be starving or eating on awaking. We have about 20 minutes to inform our body. Failure to do so could cause our body switching to conserve excess food as fat rather than eliminating it. Drinking an amount of water that is about your body weight X 0.08 is all you need (not to exceed 32 ounces in 2 hours). Just before you drink the water, put a pinch of unprocessed salt on your tongue to get the electrolytes inside your body to help transport the water to your cells.

It is amazing how so many things that are new to us were common knowledge in the past. One basic practice of the Water Cures protocol is to drink at least 30-45 minutes before and 2 1/2 hours after a meal. This is not a new thought however. Notice what a magazine from 1925 had to say...
"Drink plenty of water two hours after each meal; drink none just before eating; and a small quantity if any at meal time. Do not take a bath until two hours after eating a meal, nor closer than one hour before eating. Drink a full glass of water both before and after the bath." (Golden Age, Sept. 9, 1925, pp. 784-785)

Listen to your body. Do not use this if you are under a doctors care. Do not stop taking medications without consulting your doctor. If you are on medications, consult your doctor if you start the Water Cures Protocol as it may change your needs.

Hi, my name is Sharon. The webmaster of this site is my nurse, my personal water coach and my husband.
As this site was first being built, I had a headache and as usual took an Ibuprofen. Impatient for it to start working, I decided to try the Water Cures. I took a pinch of salt and a glass of water. Then I took a second pinch of salt and another glass of water. My headache was gone in less than 5 minutes.
From my personal experience, it usually takes 30 to 45 minutes for Ibuprofen to work. Some have found it takes ibuprofen 24 minutes to start working.
Yet on the Water Cures protocol, my headache was gone in 5 minutes.
Its simple: give your body what it needs and your body will give you what you need, the ability to feel great.
Water Cures was the solution for the elimination of my headache. It is what I will use from now on.
Why not give it a try yourself.
