The simple answer to what is reflex sympathetic dystrophy, chronic pain, often times throughout the body.
It is also know as:
Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS)
Amplified musculoskeletal pain syndrome (AMPS).
Reflex neuro-vascular dystrophy (RND)
The term, reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD) and type II, "causalgia" is no longer being commonly used.
It has the dubious honor of being considered the most painful chronic condition known to man. Because chronic pain leads to depression and anxiety. This has resulted in high suicide rates among those suffering from CRPS.
We are building this section based on the water cures CRPS theory. While this will not comprehensive, it will be developed in time to reflect the reasons why water and salt can help resolve this condition.
Science looks at CRPS as the various components. Thus when a treatment seems effective, the underlying reason for the effectiveness may be missed. The water cures is the foundation for helping the body to become healthy again.
Those with RSD may be inadvertently diagnosed with fibromyalgia. The water cures may help most people who try it. It is only the foundation of our health. All will benefit from additional dietary changes and other nutritional treatments. For some, the additional changes are essential.
There are two kinds. Type I, formerly known as RSD. Most of the research is on Type I. With this kind, there is no apparent nerve damage.
Type II, formerly called causalgia, has notable nerve damage.
Injury or surgery can cause type II.
The condition causes nerve inflammation (one of the reasons it is so painful).
Inability to move from muscle disfunction and muscle spasms.
If treatments are started early, it is more likely to go into remission.
Our nerves are highly dependent on both hydration and on minerals, especially electrolytes.
The Water Cures Protocol provides the minerals and electrolytes necessary to heal the damage. We know that water and unprocessed salt can help the body restore nerves.
We also know that glutathione can help with nerve cell regeneration. Glutathione has a high affinity for water.
The water cures works to relieve pain.

Those taking vitamin C daily after an injury had notable improvement, leading to the conclusion that it can reduce the risk of CRPS. We know that vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin.
Once we can fund a clinical trial, we believe it can be proved that unprocessed salt and water cures Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS)

It is amazing how so many things that are new to us were common knowledge in the past. One basic practice of the Water Cures protocol is to drink at least 30-45 minutes before and 2 1/2 hours after a meal. This is not a new thought however. Notice what a magazine from 1925 had to say...
"Drink plenty of water two hours after each meal; drink none just before eating; and a small quantity if any at meal time. Do not take a bath until two hours after eating a meal, nor closer than one hour before eating. Drink a full glass of water both before and after the bath." (Golden Age, Sept. 9, 1925, pp. 784-785)

Listen to your body. Do not use this if you are under a doctors care. Do not stop taking medications without consulting your doctor. If you are on medications, consult your doctor if you start the Water Cures Protocol as it may change your needs.

Hi, my name is Sharon. The webmaster of this site is my nurse, my personal water coach and my husband.
As this site was first being built, I had a headache and as usual took an Ibuprofen. Impatient for it to start working, I decided to try the Water Cures. I took a pinch of salt and a glass of water. Then I took a second pinch of salt and another glass of water. My headache was gone in less than 5 minutes.
From my personal experience, it usually takes 30 to 45 minutes for Ibuprofen to work. Some have found it takes ibuprofen 24 minutes to start working.
Yet on the Water Cures protocol, my headache was gone in 5 minutes.
Its simple: give your body what it needs and your body will give you what you need, the ability to feel great.
Water Cures was the solution for the elimination of my headache. It is what I will use from now on.
Why not give it a try yourself.
